Fabulous Friday Finds

Ok whoever sent the good thrift vibes my way last weekend thank you, thank you very much. Two estate sales and  a few garage sales yielded this haul
Yep, it was a good day.
These two handmade kids cupboards are killing me with their cuteness

The lady having the estate sale was in her 70's and said her dad made them for her when she was a little girl. Aww. How sweet. Kinda amazed me that she hung onto them all these years then sold them at a sale for 10 bucks. Look, the drawers were made out of cigar boxes and were still full of little kitchen utensils
What a good daddy :)
Also hit all the holiday categories. Christmas finds included two santa mugs, tons of Christmas cards and seals this awesome box with a a snowman that once held cherry flavored marshmallow candy, also a box o' knee huggers

That's right, a whole box.

Thanksgiving finds were some turkey paper plates and napkins and nut cups that look like...Not sure, maybe corn stalks?

One lone egg for Easter
One even lonelier napkin for Valentines day
4th of July brought my absolute fav find of the day
Awesome Old Glory picture.
Even found some New Years paper hats! Old or not? Can't decide. Told you I hit every holiday!

Like that wasn't enough I also found all this
A PINK princess phone, AND a TURQUOISE desk phone. They are sitting on an old Sunkist Lemons crate. Cute blue metal Boycraft tool box, an old metal roly cart, a huge locker basket, an old metal bike basket, two globes, two wooden yo yo's (for my sons collection) a Remple rubber lamb, a box of buttons, and a red tin bread box. . Wanna see what was in that red breadbox?
These two cool old cans. Check out those graphics!  You think these were coffee cans? If so I would have started drinking coffee just to buy these. The circus fabric makes me smile and those bird clothes pins are sahweeet! So yeah, a good day! Well, since this post is already this long I will throw one more photo at ya. So it was also prom weekend and my twins Hunter and Hailey both went. They are seniors this year and they are my youngest kids so this was my last prom ever! Tear. Aren't they adorable?

And no, they didn't go together! Ha! This was before the dates arrived. And no, that isn't beer in my sons hand, it's a diet coke (I think? I hope?)  Have a great week!

Linking up to Sir Thrift Alot

  1. Vintage Christmas - my favourite thing to find - a whole box of knee huggers, I'm so jealous! Lucky you!!

  2. I would like to take credit for sending good vibes your way..but can't be sure! Great finds - the kneehuggers, the framed flag and the kitchen set with the cigar box drawers! High five girl! Adorable kids by the prom!

  3. Oh my Lord, you found the MOTHER LODE. I don't know what I like most about your haul but it's probably one of those phones, which have been really hard for me to find lately. Especially in those colors! Good gracious, I hope your luck has held out in the weeks since! And by the way, your children are BEAUTIFUL! I can't believe how much they look alike! Mine have already grown out of any similarities they had when they were babies, which, really, they weren't that similar to begin with. I can't even picture mine that old!

  4. Do you have an Etsy shop for selling any of these vintage treasures? I bet you'd do well!!

  5. Love the little cabinets! Hard to believe all the utensils were still in the drawers. And the phones! And the Christmas stuff! Magpie Ethel magic has worn off on you. :-)
